Nick graduated from Massey University in 2013 with a Bachelor of business studies majoring in Finance and Valuation and Property Management and he’s since been a high-performing member of the Barfoot & Thompson North Shore Commercial team where he has specialised in office Leasing and investment sales.

Being involved in hundreds of sales and lease transactions throughout the years has given Nick a wealth of knowledge in the commercial industry but he prides himself most on his determination, high energy and positive attitude which he believes are the most important when dealing with his clients and separating himself from his competitors. “I’m always aiming to achieve record-breaking results but what’s most important is that my clients experience is positive and they want to work with me again in the future”.

Nick believes his determined and competitive nature comes from his background in Rugby and Cricket where he represented both North Harbour and Auckland, respectively, at age-group levels and his love for both sports came from being part of a team and consistently developing his skills. It is the same attributes he brings to his role in commercial real estate.

Nick recently became a father to daughter Greer and he loves spending time with his family outside of Auckland, often in Whangamata or Taupo, where watersports or snowboarding are top of mind and the occasional round of golf with friends and clients is a close second.

Max specialises primarily in investment sales and corporate leasing on Auckland’s North Shore. Over a period of more than six years, he has established a long track record of exceptional outcomes over hundreds of transactions with Barfoot & Thompson Commercial.

Dedication to delivering the best possible result for any client who chooses to work with him, his commitment to market knowledge and maintaining a world class database, allows him to deliver exceptional outcomes across the board.

Max graduated from the University of Auckland in 2011 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in marketing; a valuable skill set which is leveraged to ensure each property is presented in the absolute best light, and with maximum exposure through targeted channels.

Outside of work, Max is mostly on the water; sailing, surfing, foiling, kitesurfing, and fishing. Given the North Shores coastal location, you’ll be hard pressed to find a stronger advocate for commercial property north of the bridge which is reflected in his knowledge and enthusiasm within the sector.
